Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of AI Voca ("Service") operated by AI Voca ("Company"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose

These Terms define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users regarding the use of the Service.

2. Definitions

1. "Service" refers to all AI-powered vocabulary learning features provided by the Company.
2. "User" refers to any person who uses the Service.
3. "Member" refers to a user who has registered via Google login or email signup.
4. "Subscription Service" refers to paid premium features provided for a fixed period.

3. Effect and Modification of Terms

1. These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or linked pages.
2. The Company may modify these Terms in compliance with applicable laws.
3. Changes will be announced in advance within the Service.

4. Account Registration and Management

1. Users may register using a Google account or email address.
2. Members are responsible for providing accurate information.
3. Members may request account deletion at any time through the Service.

5. Provision and Modification of the Service

1. The Company provides AI-generated vocabulary, automated learning, and sentence-based learning features.
2. The Company may modify or discontinue parts of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
3. Users will be notified in advance when significant changes occur.

5-2. Payment, Withdrawal of Purchase, and Refunds for Paid Services

1. The Company provides subscription services and paid items for a fee, and payment is made through the in-app purchase system of the app market.
2. All amounts displayed in the app and in the app market include value-added tax (VAT).
3. You may request withdrawal of a purchase (cancellation) within 7 days from the date of payment. To request it: Settings → Customer Support → Write inquiry → select "Payment cancellation / withdrawal".
4. Subscriptions renew automatically; unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal, they renew on the same terms. You can cancel through Customer Support in the app or in your app market's subscription management screen.
5. Detailed provisions on payment, automatic renewal, cancellation, withdrawal, and refunds are set out in the Subscription Terms, which prevail over these Terms in the event of a conflict.

6. Service Restrictions

The Company may restrict access to the Service if a user:

• Violates these Terms or applicable laws
• Interferes with Service operation
• Uses the Service through fraudulent or abusive means

7. Company Obligations

The Company strives to provide a stable and secure Service in compliance with applicable laws.

8. User Obligations

Users must not:

• Use another person's account without permission
• Disrupt the normal operation of the Service
• Violate applicable laws or regulations

9. Limitation of Liability

1. The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events.
2. The Company is not responsible for damages caused by the user's fault.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Korea.
